Interpark Review: Pros, Cons, Summary Of Services

When you go on InterPark, you select a region from Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane, and the website will automatically show several parking options.

What does InterPark do?

If you are a driver that is looking for information on InterPark parking, then this website might be the choice for you. Before viewing an InterPark car park, you can only see the address.

Interpark Review: The Pros and Cons of Their Services

Can I book parking online?

So, if you are in a rush, the functionality of this website becomes challenging as you cannot pay a parking spot through their website. Their service consists of presenting information about their car parks, without the user being able to book parking. When viewing one option, you can quickly see all the parking rates, hours of operation, special requirements, as well as how many spaces are available in that specific car park. If you are stuck in traffic and you need a pre-paid service, so you can just park when you arrive at the car park, then InterPark is not for you. In terms of InterPark’s design, this is straightforward because the important details are visibly shown on the left, while you can check the location on the map on the right. Once again, the design might not impress you if you need a quick service that allows you to book a parking spot. In a sense, the InterPark website presents its car parks informatively, not by providing actual bookings.

How to contact them about parking

Another challenging aspect of InterPark’s functionality is that to choose a special rate or package, such as Monthly Parking, or Early Bird Parking, you need to contact them by filling out a Form, calling, or emailing them. If you need quick information, this functionality becomes challenging in a time-sensitive situation.

Advantages and disadvantages of using these parking services

PROs
  • Very informative about InterPark car parks
  • Friendly design
  • Many discounts and offers
  • CONs
  • Slow service
  • Informative website
  • No possibility of booking
  • Poor customer service
  • InterPark Review: Pro, Cons, Summary of Services

In terms of reviews, there is nothing available on Trustpilot regarding InterPark. However, it received a 2.3 Trust score. On Revdex, InterPark received 10 reviews amongst which issues of not being refunded properly, not having one’s account or parking cancelled. One reviewer, John, expressed his disappointment with his experience since he requested a refund that was accepted by InterPark but never sent. Should you buy InterPark’s services?
    • Buy if you are looking for information about InterPark’s car park
    • Don’t buy if you want to book parking through their website or App
If you are stuck in traffic and want to book parking through InterPark, this might not be the best idea. By selecting a region from Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane, InterPark automatically gives you multiple choices depending on your location, and budget from InterPark car parks. However, the biggest disadvantage is that you cannot book a parking spot online. InterPark’s special rates for parking vary according to your location. For example, a Monthly Parking service in Darling Harbour is $300 with 24/7 access, and unlimited entries and exits. For the same location, you might pay $12 with Evening/Night Parking from Monday to Friday on one condition, respectively entering after 5 pm, and exiting before 6 pm the following day. Apart from these special rates, InterPark provides Early Bird Parking in Darling Harbour that can cost $15 when entering between 7 am and 9.30 am and exiting between 3.30 pm and 7 pm. In terms of Weekend Parking, or Public Holidays, there is a flat rate of $25 when entering after 6 am and exiting before 6 am the following day. Considering these points, if you are a driver who might often park in Darling Harbour, the Monthly Parking seems the most appropriate because it offers the most flexibility.

What about their competitor’s parking services?

Their competitor, Enacon, has significantly fewer car parks to choose from, respectively three parking locations. From this point of view, InterPark is a better choice as it offers more parking solutions. One similarity between these two is their purpose, that of being informative and promoting their car park locations without giving the user the possibility of booking parking space online. However, Enacon has a more friendly design.
